Thanks Johnny.

Moving is an incredible PITA; doubly so when you have to go to work, making you absent for half of it and you have to try and direct everything via proxy (wifey) by phone. At this point, we are 75% moved in. We still have an entire garage full of boxes to go through, two bedrooms of boxes and decorations to move from our old house, plus a lot of extra furniture we are donating. I've been getting up at 3AM every day (my wife about 6AM) and going to work, then we are both working at home unpacking and sorting every evening until around 10. I already had to call a plumber to replace a corroded / half-broken / seized-up water stop in the laundry room that the previous owners failed to tell us about and we couldn't see during both walkthroughs because their washer and dryer were on platforms and completely covering the water supply box in the wall, but I digress...

I'm hoping to get the rest of our belongings at least moved into the garage this weekend and then I can begin putting my HT together. Right now, everything is just strewn about the room; stacks of gear, speakers, cables, remotes, and boxes of movies. It's exhausting just thinking about it.
Truer words were never spoken- moving is a huge PITA. I bought my house right before Christmas 2006, and I still haven’t finished organizing and putting stuff away. My buddy is in the process of moving out of a house into an apartment, with little help and a creaky back. I hope he doesn’t overdo it, and make his back worse.

I hope you enjoy your new dwelling, and good luck.

I think I like this one better than their 99%. Somehow it's more silky with slightly different flavor tones (and neither has sugar). I used it to get my 9yo granddaughter liking 90% dark. After a small piece of this one the 90% tastes quite sweet - even to her. She had a small piece of milk chocolate after that 90% and said "Yuck! What happened?!?" :)

This one is amazing with a cup of black coffee.

Since getting my new Betty Crocker Coffee Maker (To replace the "Black & Decker" that fritzed out after only 6 months!), and also replacing the permanent filter with the Melitta Filters, my coffee brews so much nicer, and disposal of the filters don't cause an unholy mess! :)

CHEERS! :)

Oddly enough, that Wal-Mart and Sam's Club have now made it a rule that both workers and shoppers have to wear masks at the stores nationwide; before, it was only a requirement for the workers, but suggested for shoppers. Now, all people in Wal-Mart/Sam's Club must wear them, and, believe it or not, that's not something I'm gonna complain about (I actually welcome it, because we need to wear masks and get this disease down)!

There are going to be a lot of pissed off walmart shoppers. They tend to be non-maskers. Should be interesting to watch.

That's the main reason I've primarily done pickup (where they bring it to the car and load it) or ship to home for WM in several months. I've been in a WM *once* in 3 months to do a return of a board game (only to make sure it was processed properly - don't trust mail-in returns of games to WM yet) and pick up a couple of items to avoid making an order larger than I needed at the time. I went as soon as they opened (7am) and walked by only 3 other shoppers who, surprisingly, were wearing masks. I was in and out in under 5 minutes - yes, even doing a return.

We'll see if they actually enforce it. Many places around here "mandate" masks, but no one is willing to confront the mask-less to enforce such mandates.

The news had said they will have an employee assigned to enforcing it. Yeah, it will be interesting to see what happens.

People will still not wear face coverings and the store employees will still not ask them to leave and we’ll still be in this same situation.
I suspect you’re right and hope you are wrong. The question is will Walmart deny admission to those who won’t wear masks.

How about those that wear a mask to enter, then take it off once inside? Is anyone going to be patrolling the store to check things beyond the front door?

It’s rather sad we’ve come to this. Such a simple and easy thing to do is considered a violations of civil rights.

Then there are all those who think they can pull it below the nostrils and it's OK. There was a "kid" (an employee at the service desk to I'd guess 18-24) at the grocery store today who had his like that. I was at the desk to pay the gas bill and commented "You do realize with your mask below your nostrils you might as well not have one on." I got a blank stare in return.

No.

We are not going down the rabbit hole in THIS thread of arguing if people are right/wrong to wear/not wear masks in stores or in public. There are other threads discussing COVID19 in which that may be allowed.

But even though these types of threads are generally given the widest possible leniency...THAT is a topic that will not be continued here. Move on.

I’m not working 15 hours again today. I’m pretty pleased about that.
Yikes! 15 hours- how often are you asked to do that?

What will please me is when I park the company truck at the terminal next Friday, then start my stay-cation (renting a car to drive the 2-1/2 hours home). With the unpleasantness going on, I don’t see the point in going anywhere for this vacation.

Been working a stupid amount of required overtime since last September. Last Friday and this past Monday were 13 hours each, Tuesday was 12 hours, yesterday was 15 hours, and today was only 10 hours. I’m sure that has something to do with my chronic fatigue but I just keep on keepin’ on. Can’t do anything else.

Buy yourself something nice with the overtime money- you deserve it.
