Title says it. What novel/movie/TV show most made you buy into something totally wacko. Who weaved a web of impossibilities and wrapped you up the the story it was telling?
All favorites. The Thirteenth Floor and eXinstenZ are particular favorites.I kind of have a weakness for SF films that postulate that the universe (at least as we experience it) is one big simulation. Examples include: The Matrix Trilogy, The Thirteenth Floor, eXistenZ and Westworld.
How would you know that you aren't in a simulation?

Read that in grad school and I really was ready to believe it was a historical text on a real, unknown / covered up event.
