What size and type connector do I need to hook the male protruding from the voice coils? Can I appoxy it to the male connector? For the Adire Tempest driver.

It's a good idea to solder the leads onto a subwoofer.

You really prefer to solder rather than use female disconnects?

I solder every speaker connection. It's really no fun when those push on connectors vibrate off in the middle of a movie. Also they don't make very good connection with the speaker.
