Until recently I might have said Cheyenne, with Clint Walker and first-season cast member L.Q. Jones.

If you'll settle for more than 2/3rds, everyone from Silver Spoons is still alive except John Houseman and Franklyn Seales. Likewise, the only deceased cast members of Empty Nest are Richard Mulligan and Estelle Getty, no one is dead from Taxi other than Jeff Conaway and Andy Kaufman, and The Mary Tyler Moore Show still has everyone except Mary Tyler Moore and Ted Knight.

All the major players from The Facts of Life are still with us, but Charlotte Rae and Cloris Leachman are both 92. Kate and Allie has yet to bury any principal cast members, either. Nor has Family Ties.

Unlike the show itself, nobody from Valerie has kicked it yet, but somehow I doubt Jason Bateman is too eager to revisit that part of his career. He doesn't need the money and he has other unrelated work; like John Houseman before him in the 1980s, he has two shows at once now, although it's unclear how much of a future Arrested Development has. Of the two, which one would you rather have as your longest running show?

Andy Kaufman is dead from Taxi. Eddie Gilbert and Jimmy Hart said Jerry Lawler killed him with those piledrivers at the Mid-South Coliseum.

Aren't the main quartet of stars from "Follow the Sun" all still around? Coe, Halsey, Lockwood and Perreau?

IMDB lists Jay Lanin as 3rd in the cast of five regulars who were in every episode. He's deceased, so that rules out this show. "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" still holds the record.

Wide Country (1962-63), with Earl Holliman and Andrew Prine.

Slim Pickens, now deceased, was in six of the 28 eps. of "Wide Country." Does that make him a regular? I'd say not, which would make this show the winner by three years. Good call, Stephen.

I think we all need to work together and initiate a grassroots campaign to get 91-year-old Donald May back in front of the camera to host a new revival of "West Point Story." Surely that cadet uniform of his still fits.

Please Don't Eat the Daisies from 1965. Mark Miller and Patricia Crowley as well as all 4 kids are still alive.

Meanwhile, Doris Day, who was in the 1960 movie, has outlived half the cast of her 1968-1973 TV show that kept changing pretty regularly.
