So far I have heard that you can make 200k in about 8 months working in a plutonium mine.
I have also heard that king crab fishing in Alaska will net you about 80k-100k in about 4 months.
Is there any other ways you can think of which aren't illegal?

My "Prosperity Tonic" will give you the confidence to make all the money you desire within one hour. Since you are a member in good standing I will only charge you $85.
If you follow the directions and you are not satisfied, call me within 2 hours of drinking the tonic and I will refund your money.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but plutonium is a manmade element. If someone wants to hire you for work in a plutonium mine, I'd make sure you get the money up front.

I dunno how much they make.. but I watched a show on TV about them once and they make enough in a short season to live year round, but it's one of the most dangerous jobs you can have. Guys get killed and injured all the time.

Write a big thick business plan for an internet-based business and pitch the idea to venture capitalists.. they'll give you millions no matter how stupid or unrealistic the idea is!

Reminds me of the old joke... "Do you want to know how to be a millionaire? First, you start with a million dollars..." Well, it's not much of a joke. But the point is that earning money is much more difficult than making money. If you want to make a pile of money without risking your life, your future, or your reputation, you're going to have to rely on luck, whether that be through gambling, investments, or the lottery. You're better off trying to trade some marketable skills for a steady wage. If you have no marketable skills, get some.
But since you asked about high risk, high reward jobs, I know of a few NFL teams who could use a reliable running back. How are your blocking skills? :)

You could consider being a test subject for a pharmaceutical manufacturer.
Also if you are a female I have heard you can get $1500 - $3000 for each egg that they remove. Men only get $50 a "shot".

The Futures market, man, but be prepared to go the other way in a hurry.
You could look into what Carlton Sheets, Don Lapre and others of that ilk (where are those damned midget twins?) and see what they have to offer. Then there's SMC - big time profits they say.
But, the best and easiest way to marry someone already rich.
I know a number of rich people. Others are rich but you wouldn't hardly know it. With only one exception (he married into wealth), every one of them took a lifetime of hard work to get that way. And the one exception, it turns out, really wasn't an exception - he made a fortune on his own.

They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa To the funny farm. Where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!!!

I work in a research unit that does clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies. The average pay is about $150 for an overnight stay, and $50 for an outpatient visit. None of the volunter subjects is going to get rich doing these studies, and you can only do one every 2-4 months. If you can get into a weekend study so you don't miss work, then you can earn some extra cash, but it won't be a LARGE sum.

there's a place in town (actually a couple) that does those, one is a business, they pay 700-1500 for studies, depending on what's involved, all of them at least one weekend overnight as far as I know (never looked to seriously, having blood drawn every hour isn't my bag) like a fri night to sun afternoon type of deal.
the other is the university nutrition lab, they pay closer to 500 but you get ALL your food from them for a month and can't eat anything else. Probably a good diet if you wanted to dro a few pounds :)

With respect to someone who said that you don't think they make 80-100k in four months, I think that you must be thinking of regular tuna boat fishermen on the east coast?
I can guarantee you that the king crab fishers in Alaska make an awful lot of money. I know this because a friend of mine from alberta goes fishing there every year for 4 months for the past 6 years. When he told me how much money could be made in 4 months my jaw almost hit the floor.
What he told me next totally floored me. He said some of the bigger boats are bringing in over a million dollars. My friend is 24 yrs old and he just bought 36 acres outside of Calgary, Alberta now that is a good way to increase your assets

I would love to go king crab fishing in Alaska, but unfortunately you have gotta be a dual citizen or an American.

I hear the price on Bin-Laden's head is $5,000,000.00. Dangerous work though. Bounty Hunters make a lot of money too. Problem is all this work is extremely dangerous. :)

There was a program on TV which listed the 10 most dangerous jobs in the world - Alaskan crab fisherman was THE most dangerous.
I can't remember the rest - but they included jobs like photo journalist (ie. war zones) and all the obvious ones.

Someone told me how to become a millionaire with farming.
You start with 10 million dollars & farm until you’re down to a million.

If you really want to open your eyes to the real world of "rich" people, check out the book "The Millionaire Next Door". It's a study of how wealthy people got that way, and how they live. Basically, they work hard, and don't waste their money. The book defines wealth by how much you're worth, not how much you make. So lawyers and doctors that make $200,000/yr but spend $200,001/yr aren't wealthy at all, while someone who makes $50,000/yr but only spends $35,000/yr and wisely invests the rest can have a huge net worth.
