What is the best type of splitter to use for a digital cable box? (1 Viewer)

Do I need to buy a digital splitter, or will a regular splitter work w/o signal loss.

As long as it is bi-directional it should work.

Just curious, but how does the double-shielding help in reducing signal loss when it gets split?

You'll have to ask the Marketing folks at RS . I see 3.5 on each output leg, I hope that is gain .
I have used the unit between the wall and my Digital Cable box and it has been recommended by my Cable provider to use anything similar as long as it is bi-directional as stated above. If it was split after the cable box, I believe a 'standard' splitter would suffice.
