I have the Panasonic RV80 - and I have been very happy with it. I know at the time I bought it (two years ago) it was considered the best interlaced player by very many. However, we all know how fast technology improves, so are there better interlaced players out there with even better downconversion?

I should add that good downconversion is probably of utmost important to me since I have a 61" TV where flaws show up easily.

The Panny RP-82 and CP-72 both have an MPEG Decoder considered by many to be the best of it's kind today.
