OK. I believe I have been unclear in my question. My apologies.
What I am talking about is the need to be in a relationship with the person (which I don't feel), not the amount of time actually spent with her. It seems people feel that they need do have the other person as partner. I want to, but don't need to, and this is someone I have known for more than 2 years, so it's not like a girl I just met at a bar.
Does this make sense? Is this wrong - as in recipe for disaster?
