Can someone explain what DVI is? I am not a real techie..but would like to know as technical stuff as I can.

And what are progressive scan DVD players? How are they superior?

What is a chroma bug?

What DVD player would you recommend if my budget is upto $300 and I need the following:

* Progressive scan
* Play DVD-R/MP3/MPEG/JPEG/CD-RW/SACD etc..

I have ordered a Hitachi HDTV 57T500. It is a 57" TV and I like the picture when I saw it in the showroom. But will appreciate any feedbacks from you all...Want to know if I made the right choice.

What is a recommended tuner? What sort of tuner should I buy?
