Several new Anchor Bay titles tout the use of the "DiVaMAX high-definition transfer process", yet I can't find any information using GOOGLE...anyone have a link to a site regarding exactly what sets this process apart from any other HD transfer?

Is it related in any way to Paramount's MasterSharp process allegedly producing quality EP-speed VHS tapes? [IMG]

It's just Anchor Bay's name for transfers done in HD and downconverted to standard resolution for DVD. It's nothing special or unique, but all of AB's previous transfers were done in standard resolution.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the quality of their new transfer for Halloween! [IMG]

Ok, that's one thought I had about this "process"...marketing.
But whatever, as long as it makes the final transfer look good on their DVD's that's fine by me...I suppose that the Dawn of The Dead box will look spectacular.[IMG]
