What is a Panasonic DVD-H1000? (1 Viewer)

I did a search, didn't find much info or talk regarding these players. What's the scoop on them? Do I want one? Comparison to an RP-82?

It was Panasonic's first high-end DVD player, released about 3 years ago, which is one reason why you're not finding much current discussion about them (the other reason is that they cost around $2K). I doubt you could find one for sale today, except maybe on the used market. The RP-82 is a much later generation of player.

There was a later H2000 model, but after that I think Panasonic stopped making "high end" models.
