What is a fair price for my Carver 806x THX amplifier and Sony TAE-9000ES preamp (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I have recently decided to revamp my entire system. I am wondering what a fair price is for these components before I put them up on either Ebay or Audiogon.

The Amp is six channels, 133 watts continuous and THX certified. Internal monoblock construction and bridgable.

The preamp has the latest 2.01 upgrade and includes the both the original touchscreen remote and newer updated remote.

The pre amp should be anywhere from $600 - $800 on ebay...I got mine for a little less but it didn't have the 2.1 software at the time.

Dave, their is a "blue book" on audio equipment just like with cars. If you want to get the wholesale figure, check with an upscale dealer. I can recommend one to call but send me an email for the name.
