What in wall speaker wire for sub? (1 Viewer)

My passive sub (SVS-Ultra) has its amp in a rack at the rear of my HT room with the sub on the front wall. I need to run a speaker line from rear to front through an attic wall, so expect I need CL2 or CL3 wire. What's the best for carrying a strong bass signal for, say, 45 feet or so. I've read about some CL listed 12 ga. @ Home Depot. Will that cut it?

Sure, any class 2 or 3 12-gauge wire will do.
