A Tape retreival process. They can retreive over written data and lost data on Star Trek, too bad we can't do it here, heh.
Back in the day, when the 90's was rolling around the dial, I didn't think to ask my parents for a new VHS tape when another one got filled up. For the most part, I just taped over what existed. At the time, everything seemed like it was going to be in repeats forever, so there was no need to keep current versions if you didn't need them. Now that I'm going through and re-labeling old tapes, I'm REALLY wishing that I didn't tape over some stuff, because I could have had original run, complete episodes of shows if I didn't muck up the tape. Let alone uncut and logo identification free.
Heh, someone could probably make a forutne if they could
figure out how to retreive taped over material .
