It was my understanding that True Confessions was to be released today. I can't find it anywhere. Amazon says the release date has not yet been established. Is there any info?

Dunno Steve... but this was one of my most anticipated titles of the year. Amazon (both ca & com) had dates listed just up to a couple of days ago.

More quality work from the folks at Columbia... (MGM).

The R2 is non-anamorphic and I was hoping the R1 would rectify that, but I'm not holding my breath...

Hi John... I have the R2 and it's really really bad - riddled with artifacts.

I was warned off it long ago Herb; I really can't see Sony coming up with the goods in R1 and that's a crying shame isn't it for such a fine film?
