what happened to the network icons in my system tray? (1 Viewer)

does anyone know what could have happened? i used to have two network icons in my tray (one for my wireless connection and one for my "landline") -- they were the little "double-telephone" looking icons that lit up green when transferiring info...hope you guys know what i'm talking about, i don't know the "official" or correct term for these icons.

well, since yesterday they ain't there! where did they go? is there anyway to get them back?

can anyone help?

btw, it's XP.

goto control panel > network connections > properties of connection type >check box at bottom of window. Is that what you are talking about.
