I was looking forward to this for its partner series but I can't seem to find it anywhere. All I can find are some crummy single volume releases that I will not purchase.

The single volumes are all that were promised. The box set is just the 2 volumes packaged together. Considering how obscure this series is you may want to consider getting it because I can't see them doing a box set for this. They only need 2 more volumes to complete the series and we may not even get those. The transfers are passable considering the age of the series and how forgotten it was. It brought back alot of memories. I loved watching this when I was 5-6 and only had vague memories of it that have always stuck with me. They do have complete episodes featuring 2 Kong episodes and a Tom Thumb episode.
