What happened to "Sanford & Son" season 6? (1 Viewer)

I remember reading a news item months ago on TVshowsonDVD.com regarding the release of "Sanford & Son: The Sixth Season" on January 25th. I just double-checked that news item, just to make sure I wasn't imagining things. lol.

I was very much looking forward to buying this next month, and finally completing my "Sanford & Son" collection. I was browsing around some of the e-tailer sites looking for cover art. What I found was no listing at all for Season 6. So, I checked the release schedule on the aforementioned site, only to find that it wasn't included.

I'm just wondering what the story is with this one, since no formal announcement was given. Was the date pushed back? And if so, to when?

I don't know where TVShowsOnDVD.com got that January date, but Sanford & Son Season 6 has not been officially announced yet for release. Don't worry though, I'm sure it will be coming soon.

Maybe they accidentally put in an edited episode and, unlike before, are postponing the set to correct it. I do hope that's the case.

Gord got that directly from a contact at the studio. As sometimes happens, though, things apparently changed. We don't know why.
