I remember in the mid to late-90s when Micron brand computers were the leading edge along with Dell and Gateway. Now I see such lack of enthusiasm for Micron...and they did the unthinkable...BEST BUY! Their website makes them look like some startup company. So is there new ownership? Did their sales and advertising team jump the shark? What?

If I recall correctly, they sold their computer operations to concentrate on making chips. I can't recall to whom.

I bought a Micron PC a long time ago. Pentium 200MMX, 32MB ram, 17" monitor (which just crapped out a few weeks ago), all for a mere $3000!

There were the last PC i bought before I started building my own. Good PC I thought.

Micron sold off their PC building business last year to a group of lawyers I believe.
