What give better picture quality - Progressive NTSC or Non-Progressive PAL? (1 Viewer)

Just wondering really....

In this thread lets disregard the Pal speed-up issue!

I think that NTSC prog seems sharper than non-progessive Pal - But this could just be my eyes!

Thanks for any input!

first off i've no idea because I don't have anything that is capable of playing progressive scan discs, but I have seen that there is now a PAL progressive scan DVD player, the arcam DV88 Plus

I can't imagine why. PAL still has more horizontal lines, so the vertical resolution can be better (depends also on the content, of course) than on NTSC.

And let's not discuss the Chroma Bug here....
