I have Monster Cable XPHP-CI that I was planning on running for my speakers, but nowhere on Monster Cable's web site does it list a gauge size for this wire?

I also haven't been able to locate any size notation on the wire jacket.

Help?

Mark,

seems to me that Monster XP (and all suffix variations) is your basic 16AWG zip type cord.

IIRC when they ring it up, like on a price check, the gauge shows up. Of course one could use a micrometer to measure the diameter of one strand, count the # of strands and then figure out the effective gauge.

I think that Monster describes it as multiple gauge (ie: different gauge wire strands braided together).
