I did a quick Excel compare for them. Here's what came up as matches for both XBox and PS2 (Note, this was based on the Release Dates section of IGN, and won't include titles already released for the PS2):

    Tetris Worlds

    SSX Tricky

    Blood Omen 2

    Max Payne

    Star Wars Starfighter: Special Edition

    MX 2002 Featuring Ricky Carmichael

    Star Wars: Obi-Wan

    ESPN NBA 2Night 2002

    NBA 2K2

    Medal of Honor: Allied Assault

    Test Drive

    Rayman Arena

    Circus Maximus: Chariot Battle

    NFL Blitz 20-02

    TimeSplitters 2

    The Matrix

Gravity Games Bike: Street. Vert. Dirt.

    Red Card Soccer

    Malice: Kat's Tale

    The Thing

    Knockout Kings 2002

    Chris Edwards Inline Skating

    Spider-Man: The Movie

    SWAT: Global Strike Team

    Project Ego

    Mortal Kombat 5

    NFL Blitz 20-03

    Pro Race Driver

    Legion: Legend of Excalibur

    Dr. Muto

    Minority Report

    Defender

    Ultimate Blade of Darkness

    Race of Champions

    Colin McRae Rally 3

    Rocky

    Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer

    Dead to Rights

    Soul Calibur 2

    Jackie Chan Adventures

    Goblin Quest

    Superman

Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown

    Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon

    Antz Racing

    Jurassic Park 3

    Mission: Impossible-2

    Ozzy's Black Skies

    V.I.P.

    Hope that helps.

Actually, some of those games are PS2 only (so far) and X-Box only (so far). TimeSplitters 2 is only on PS2, The Matrix and Obi-wan are only on X-Box.

I don't really get how comparing games that will be on both consoles helps you decide which console to buy. Wouldn't exclusive titles help you more?

Yeah, the games are on PS2 but WILL be on Xbox.
So if theres a game that i really want thats currently on the PS2, by reading this therad, and seeing that its also on Xbox, i may reconsider the console coz its gonna be on the other one.

Nick ,I have a PS2 and just bought a Cube.I know you didn't ask but if I had to choose between X & P2 I'd go Xbox.I'm going strictly on the specs and $$$ , both cost the same. Now if you need Metal Gear and GranTour3 PS2 is your console.I think at the same price point and a ton of dual games ,X's hard drive vs the cost of PS2 memory cards and X's modem that X wins out. That said I'm very pleased with my Cube & PS2.

    Malice: Kat's Tale

I'm not sure about this one. I know it was one of the earliest featured titles for the Xbox, which implies to me that it'll at least come out for that system first. OTOH, it's been awhile since I've heard anything about it so maybe things have changed.

    SWAT: Global Strike Team

Not sure about this one either...

    Project Ego

This one, OTOH, is definitely Xbox exclusive.

Isn't SWAT being codeveloped by Sony?

Anyway, if I had to reccommend a purchase between X-Box, GameCube, and PlayStation 2, I would go with PS2. The ability to play PSX and PS2 games alone is worth $300, plus you get the somewhat OK DVD/CD player. Even though the X-Box has an ethernet port, you can't use it unless you have a LAN (which is pricy) and it doesn't do online (like it should without hacks) yet. The PS2 has an online game that doesn't require you to buy a Sony brand modem or special modem and doesn't require you to pay. Last I heard, MS would charge to use X-Box online. That probably not totally true, but any price for online would make me a little annoyed.

Yep, Project Ego was an error.
