I've seen the montage of images so many times on Video Essentials that I can't help but be interested in the films where some clips originated. Does anyone know their names?

Actually, I always thought they were filmed especially for VE. They all seem to have the same "look" to them.

From my understanding, many of the film images come from Kodak telecine test reels. I know I've seen many of the same clips running for years at NAB in the Rank Cintel booth.

Ahhh. They look to be like they were cut scenes from complete movies.

According to the credits on V.E. (Title 16, Chapter 62+), the film segments were provided by Eastman Kodak. Here are the titles:

    "Season of Choice"

    "Dancer"

    "Skateboard"

    "Beach Scenes"

"Young Tough Guy" (my personal favorite)
