With JohnQ for $15.99 and Better off Dead for $14.99 I think those are my only two this week. I see that compUSA has better off dead for the price listed above but BestBuy does not have it in the circular at all. JohnQs price is from Target, again BestBuy shows it but does not reveal the price. I think I will also do a blind buy with the dvd Red Beard a Criterion Special Edition.

You mean the 16th? Just Amelie for me.

Been waiting for that movie for a LONG time.

Nothing for me, sadly [IMG] . I've been saving my pennies for a Gamecube, so I'm only hitting the really big stuff. Next purchase: LOTR:FOTR and Simpsons Season 2 on 8/6.

Amelie - I've been waiting a long time for this one. I'm just happy that the wait will be over Tuesday. I've resolved only to buy one or two a week until the unopened stack I have has been viewed.

Rented "Shallow Hal" this weekend - it's pretty good and worthy of purchase, but I'd wait for it to be on sale.

David Lambert did not mention Criterions Red Beard. Anyone know which stores will have this cheap?

LOTR:FOTR and Simpsons S2 are probably my next two release-day purchases, but there's a good chance some catalog purchases will take place between now and the 6th.

Just Amelie for me, though I do have Red Beard and several catalogue titles on the way from an e-tailer. Next month is when the fun starts...

My next purchase will be FOTR and the Simpsons Season 2 box set on August 6th. As far as current releases go...not really sure. Gonna have to make a list and kiss my hard-earned cash goodbye!

Just Amelie so far. I'm debating Top Secret! and Better Off Dead, but only if there's a sweet deal on them.

Nothing unless Speed SE comes in early. Next up after that are The Wrath Of Khan and Lord Of The Rings.

Speed will also be my next purchase. I trying to save money from buying so many dvd in May, but it looks like August will put a big fat hole in my check book. I did however manage to buy The Royal Tenembaums.

Of the films released this week i'm getting Amelie but the order from Amazon has The Royal Tenenbaums, Black Hawk Down, Fellowship of the Ring and Memento: LE. Probably won't ship for a little while yet but I rented Amelie last week because I just couldn't wait to see it again.
