Mine is Indiana Jones, with the "LETS...SEE...IT...IN..." words, followed by the THX logo. Huge bass, and catches you off guard.

On the DTS side, I like the old "The Digital Experience" on Adaptation.

    Whats yours?

I completely agree. I loved the way on the Indiana Jones THX trailer how the Bass somehow created a wave from the back of the room to the front. I also like the old "The Digital Experience" trailer that Columbia still uses

My favorite THX logo introduction is from Terminator 2: Judgment Day UE DVD.

Everytime I watch that scene it gives me chills!

If you pick the DD-EX track on Punch Drunk Love, you get a really great DD-EX trailer that I haven't seen on any other disc. And it REALLY makes use of the center surround channel. That one may be my favorite.

My other choice would be the EX version of THX's TEX trailer, where the robot moves to each speaker and then kicks the THX logo.

Could do with a variety of DTS trailers, the piano one bores me.

    Another vote for T2.

I thought I was the only nut that looked forward to seeing a new THX or DTS Logo [IMG]

My favorite one is on Star Wars - AOTC. When the explosion hits, look OUT!

Love the Toy Story cows... but that T2 one... it just rocks. (And vibrates the whole house...hee!)

I second the Simpsons on the Ultimate Disc.
Ron, that disc is not officially sold anywhere. Only THX dealers get them. You can find them on ebay. Not sure what they go for now, but they have been $75-$200 for the official one. Bootlegs are much cheaper.

One thing that I've thought about on the "Let's see it..." on Indiana Jones. I thought THX was about both the best video AND audio, but I guess we're just SEEING it in THX. Sorry, that was sorta dumb, but it's just what popped in my head when I saw it. [IMG]

I guess "LETS...SEE...AND...HEAR...IT...IN...THX" is a bit too long [IMG]

All time favorite is still the DTS Digital Experience. I remember seeing it all the time in the theater and it always meant that the movie was about to start. Then for the longest time, the theatre did not use it. When I started working there however, I resurected it and now we use it on many more features. But I also enjoy

    Dolby: City and Canyon
    THX: Simpsons and Grand

I dig the DTS piano one in theatres. It just runs across the room. It's one of the most bad ass sounds I've ever heard.
