what does this mean?

    I can't access anything on my desktop. I keep getting

    "explorer has caused an error in FLT.DLL explaorer will now close"


    can anyone help?

    What operating system are you using?
    Also, did you install any programs prior to this happening?
    I did a quick search for flt.dll on Microsoft's Knowledge Base, and nothing showed up, so it might not be a part of Windows or Microsoft's programs.
    If you didn't install any programs before this happened, I would suggest you run your antivirus software, and also a spyware killing program like Ad-Aware or Spybot
