What does the (B) mean in some Onkyo receivers? (1 Viewer)

For example, BestPriceAudioVideo.com has great prices on their recievers, but at the end of the model number a (B) is shown. what does that represent?

Probably B-stock: refurbs, returns, scratch 'n dents.

They should be fine in terms of electronic performance, but they are somehow returned or repaired.

S=Silver

The "B" stock fairy tail refused to die ...
As long as it is a close box and you bought it from
authorized dealer you are fine.

Thanks LiorM. I thought it was a refurb or something, but after opening it it looked fresh from the factory, and it was black!
