Personally, I am drooling. I bet they are fantastic.
Looking at Stereophile's aticle, the new tweeters add a HUGE amount to the price.
First, the 800's are $20,000 a pair(!) and the classic 801's are $16,000 a pair(!)
Second, on a lesser speaker, the 803's WITHOUT the diamond tweeter are $2750 each, adding the new tweeter takes the price to $4000 each. $1250 per upgraded tweeter, wow...
Anyway, BEAUTIFUL looking speakers. The new center's and sub's look awesome.
