It seems this is a particularly bad time to be looking for an inexpensive TV. I got new bedroom furniture and want to replace my 15-year old, hand-me-down 21"-ish TV in the bureau.
I can get a 24" CRT for $200 -- but I'm done with CRT -- or jump to $400 minimum for an "Insignia" 22" LCD. For anything "namebrand" it's over $500 for a 26" or larger. It seems like there's no good options for buying a cheap, second TV for the bedroom.
What do you think? What do you do for secondary TVs? (The terrible part is that my bureau will fit up a 46" widescreen, and that's so tempting, but so not a good decision
