I love the system, a Denon AVR 2802 and the bostons......
But I was hoping to supplement the low end, and like the small high performance, unobtrusive thing we have going on!
I would love if a "Sunfire" or equiv. could replace or supplement the existing sub but I believe I read the sunfire didn't cross over high enough for smaller speakers. Also is there a place in the system for a "Butt Kicker" sub to stimulate the senses.
What is the logical reasoning that eludes me? Are the Micro90's up to the task? For now lets just say the wife is happy about the whole........ thing!!

Many thanks.

I'm not very familiar with the Sunfire subs. The only other quality micro-sub that I would use would be custom models similar to this. Nathan could give you more info on how how it could be crossed over.

I'm not understanding your ButtKicker question. Some people like the extra tactile feeling you get from the shakers like BK's or Aura. The couple of times I've experienced them, they seemed distracting. I'd rather use enough sub to get a tactile feel.

If you really want low bass but non intrusive, then an infinite baffle sub is your best bet. Since the sub is in another room, it takes up no space at all. The downside is the custom installation. But if you are handy with tools, it is simple.
