actually, got a really STOOOPID subwoofer from futureshop (canada) at boxing day for $100cad.
8" woofer with 80watts built in amp.
weighs aroun 15lb and sounds horrible... actually, I think it needs a little break in... cuz it's beginning to sound better after a few hours listening today.
hurray, I've officially spent $190cad on my home theatre!
$90 front bookshelfs
$100 8"sub @ 80watts
$0 amp (2 channel CHEAP amp from about 20 years ago)
$0 speaker wires (borrowed my friend's 15year old wires)
source is from my computer (mostly mp3) so don't really need a receiver or anything.
