I've got an SVS sub now, and I'm curious as to what Dreamcast games have the best bass. Very low bass would be best, but anything that's got bass will do (I am speaking of bass, as in the lowest three octaves of sound, not bass as in fish...I do own one bass (fish) game, though [IMG]). I think Alien Front Online may be good, but I'm not really sure. I like MSR, but I haven't played in a good while, and I don't seem to remember much bass (great game, though). Any input would be appreciated.

I don't have too many DC games, but one that comes to mind is Expendable. Frankly its just loud period! [IMG] But some damn good explosions.

Damn. You beat me to the Get Bass! reference. It is by far the best fishing game, though (otherwise known as Sega Bass Fishing, if you're interested).

For actual low frequency oscillation effects, rather than fish, you'll go a long way to get close to the mighty Rez. With that, the vibration controller even vibrates in time to the bass, for added effect. Rez, Level 4, without a shadow of a doubt.

For quite shockingly loud bass drums from an unexpected source, the title music on Mr. Driller is a real 'reach for the volume NOW' surprise.

In terms of effects bass I'm not sure though - I just play through the TV most of the time.

Is this an import, or what? I don't think this was released in America on the Dreamcast.

Possibly not. As someone who lives in a country where it was released for the Dreamcast, I'm not sure [IMG]
Get over to NCS for an import copy - even the Japanese release is entirely in English.

Since I don't have Progressive for my Dreamcast (I don't even know how to, beyond it involving the VGA Box), there's no point in me getting it over the PS2 version, right?

Jet Set Radio has some good bass. Dead Or Alive 2 is greatly enhanced by a subwoofer going 'boom' when you punch somebody.
