MGM does a good job on trying to release catalog titles on DVD. However, there are only a small handful of titles from the Cannon Films library they own that are on DVD such as "Invasion USA" and "Lifeforce".

Here is my list of Cannon titles I'd like to see MGM release on DVD:

Breakin'

Breakin' 2

Hercules (1983 version)

The Adventures of Hercules

Bloodsport

What Cannon titles of the 1970s and 1980s would you like to see MGM release?

HOUSE OF THE LONG SHADOWS starring Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Vincent Price and John Carradine. It's not a great movie, but having those 4 icons in one picture is good enough.

I agree with Will & Rob's suggestions of BLOODSPORT. A true guilty pleasure to be sure, but what the hell, it's the only Van Damme movie (aside from TIMECOP maybe) that I would consider owning. I haven't seen ENTER THE NINJA in a long time but I seem to recall enjoying it when I was a kid.

Two underrated John Frankenheimer films-- the brilliant and dark 52 PICK-UP and the Cold War thriller THE FOURTH WAR.

I would KILL for a good 52 PICK-UP DVD. And Frankenheimer tends to get involved with DVD supplements and commentary tracks (except for films like PROPHECY which he's written off)

You're 200% CORRECT Mr Cappelletty! I'd kill for a SE DVD of 52 Pickup with a Frankenheimer commentary & maybe some from cast members like Clarence Williams III.

Put me down for:
BLOOD ON SATAN'S CLAW
52 PICK-UP
HOUSE OF THE LONG SHADOWS
Also, a new 16:9 enhanced release of the extended cut of LIFEFORCE would be very much appreciated.

Mark,

Bloody brilliant faux APPLE cover. Not enough people have seen this godawful masterpiece to appreciate it, but it truly is one of the best bad films ever made. I understand there will be a 35mm theatrical screening at the NuArt in L.A. at the end of January. Damn shame I live in NJ!

Well, BARFLY and BLOODSPORT made it out, and 10 TO MIDNIGHT is on the way. But there's still more Go-Go Cannon goodness that needs sunlight on DVD shelves.

And don't forget the L.A. screening of THE APPLE on Valentine's Day Feb. 14th! :0

I was watching my LD of "52 Pickup" & was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of a possible DVD release for this film.
