I doubt any of these things exist now, but does anyone know if they will exist in the future?

I have about 9 things plugged into my ups backup. A Stereo, a VCR, Computer, Monitor, Speakers, Gamecube, Scanner and I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

I'd love to add a 5.1 surround system to my computer, but I just plain have no plugs left. Does anyone make wireless speakers, a wireless thing for a computer moniter or scanner, so I can get rid of some wires around here?

    Thanks!

there are wireless speaker systems from the big name brads, but they're all HTiB's and appeal more to looks/style over sound quality...

but even though they're wireless you still gotta plug each speaker into the wall for power

Yep, I know. The main object here is to get rid of some wires more so than the plugs [IMG].

Stupid question time, as I don't know much about Surround Sound systems..

I may be upgrading my flat panel monitor to a widescreen flat panel monitor, and adding a 5.1 speaker system. What's a good brand to look into for a price around, say, $70's?

The current dual speakers I have now is made by Altec.

    Thanks
