Does Belden have a good cable that I can use to make my own interconnects? They need to be 12'long. I can get a good deal on Belden cable stock through my office.

    Belden 9456: capacitance 12 pF/ft.
Belden 9269: forgot the capacitance...low though.
    Belden 89269: teflon version of the above..capacitance 8.5 pF/ft.
Hop on over to Belden's site and read up on them...good luck.

the 89259 is the one evangilized over at Audio Asylum. In my experience it makes an excellent subwoofer cable but somewhat less satisfying as a full rance ic

I do detest those evangelical sessions over at the asylum [IMG]
lots of good choices out there though that one would be very hard pressed to distinguish from especially in normal lengths under methodology that I'm 'fond' of.

Belden 89259. 12ft is not a problem for this cable.
Makes a great analog IC. You should use decent RCA(WBT,Cardas,Vampire) connectors to get the most from them though.
For subwoofer its not so critical as to connector choice.
Can also be used for digital and video use but its easily bettered by Belden's 1506a,1694a and 1695a cable.
