I received my copy of Scream directors cut from cdjapan today and was wondering what the differences are the 2 versions? I remember someone posting a website that had the differences posted, but I can't find it. thanks

IIRC (haven't watched mine in awhile):

    - End of opening scene where Barrymore is hanging from the tree gutted; camera zooms in much much slower so you see more gore

    - Scene with Barrymore's boyfriend tied to a chair on her deck is a little longer showing another longer gutting

    - McGowan's head is also crushed in the garage door when it's opened

That's all I remember of the top of my head. [IMG]

    Another one I remember:
When the two killers are stabbing each other near the end, the scene is a little more brutal with more stabs than the R version.

Thanks guys. I was really happy with this dvd. The sound wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be despite the low DD track. The worst part about it is the menu is in Japanese so I had to guess on what option I was choosing.
