Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame sounds freaking amazing. Maybe the best HT audio experience of my life.

Daylight is stunning, as are any of the Disney movies released on DTS LD (The Hunchback of Notre Dame is breathtaking, as is Pocohantas). The Frighteners is quite impresseive as well.

Add to the DTS LD list (if you like these movies) Titanic and Independence Day. Both have superb sound.

The Crow is also impressive. I'll have to second all of Patrick's suggestions too, although I don't own Firestorm.

Broken Arrow. And another [IMG] for the DTS LD of Titanic (if you can find a copy that won't cost you an arm and a leg).

Jurassic Park, Casper, The Rock, Titanic, Hunchback, etc. etc.
Most all of them are very high quality soundtracks. Heads and shoulders, in many cases, above any DVD soundtrack version so far. More imaging between speakers, spacious, micro details brought out from the soundtrack, smooth, and powerful with tight, tight bass.
DTS really put some time into their LD mastering and used quality digital sources.

As for the bad rap about the characters--hey, I've seen space operas that put their emphasis on human personalities and relationships. They're called "Star Trek" movies. Give me transparent underwater cities and vast hollow senatorial spheres any day. --Roger Ebert on The Phantom Menace

I own Stargate, Sudden Death, Jurassic Park, The Lost World: J.P., Dante's Peak, Daylight, Last Man Standing, Strange Days, Firestorm, and my favourite is......... Last Man Standing, why?, because the gunfight scenes sound incredible. The rest also sound much better than the DVD's (IMO)
I would love to hear some of the other LD's recomended but they sell for way too much on eBay
