What are some popular methodologies regarding "speaker breakin"? (1 Viewer)

I am expecting my new speakers very soon (fronts + rears + center + sub). I want to make sure I do EVERYTHING to "break" them in properly. Is there a "handbook" on proper speaker break-in methods (ie. db level restrictions,...etc)? If not...can everyone throw in their 2 cents worth?

Thanks,

John

i have heard some strange ways to break-in speakers faster:

1. play them loud for 8 hours at a time with reverse polarity (what difference could the polarity make???)

2. play FM radio static through them at normal listening levels as much as possible for a week (this sounds more logical)

i have not tested these methods, but my infinity entra center (yes, i know it sucks, but i listen to 70 percent music with two channels) began to sound more neutral after three movies and one 60 minute CD with PLII enabled. it has plateaued after four movies.
