I was just wondering what are some very good compnent video switchers? How many of you use them? Are the ones on higher end receivers good component switchers? I have the Marantz SR-9200, which is one of their flagship receivers. Do you think I would be okay going through that? Thanks.

Very interesting. But I do have a question, do any of these video switches fade between sources when switching? Or do they just drop the first signal and POW! you're looking at the next signal?
What I'd like is a switch that fades the first signal down to black, and then fades the second signal up from black.

    Anything like that out there?

None of the consumer products offer fade out/in. The only ones I have seen with such features are the professional products. But these are in the $800-$2,000 range.

Try www.markertek.com for some of these.
