I have a family member who wants to buy a PS3 and I was asked what are the best deals going on now for them.

So what is the scoop anybody got anything worth passing along?

AFAIK, the best deal should still be to get a new Sony Visa card through SonyStyle.com and then buy a PS3 w/ it from Sony's own stores (possibly immediately online at SonyStyle or at one of their retail stores) and get $150 back after a couple weeks or so. That credit card deal has been going on for over a year now though it used to be only $100 back.
