Annoying that the fact that Beyonce is preggers it's suddenly considered "Breaking News"
Yeah. I've thought of mentioning Beyonce in the "what baffles you" thread. I just don't see what anyone else sees in her.
First off, I have absolutely nothing against Beyonce, and congratulations to her!
"Breaking News," on the other hand, has become such a ridiculously overused and abused phrase, that it has become the modern equivalent to "The Boy Who Cried Wolf!" Most of the time these days, it seems to me the purpose of this phrase is little more than a desperate attempt to grab viewers attention!
Amazon sellers who nag and nag about changing negative feedback.
I bought a new watchband and even though the description showed it fit my watch model, AND the package it came in had my watch model# on it, it didn't fit. I took it to local watch repair shop and they said it was not made to fit. So I posted 1 star review on Amazon stating what happened and why I was giving them 1 star.
I ended up doing a return/refund but seller quickly started firing off emails for me to "please take down negative feedback:" and they will send a different model (they admitted that the one I got wasn't meant for my watch and they would " no longer sell it".). Kept saying "take down negative feedback.
Nope, I told them that if the new version fits correctly I will gladly update the rating. Till then, it stays as is.
In his defense, if the packaging said it was compatible with your watch, then it most likely wasn't his fault.
Problem is he knew it didn't work but sold them anyway. Found numerous complaints saying it didn't work. Weird thing is just as many folks claimed in their "reviews" that it DID work. Not sure if they were fake reviews to keep their ratings higher or what.
I must have missed that one. But seriously, other than bon-bon eating, overweight women watching soap operas and reading gossip rags, who cares. These people really need to get lives.
Ooohh, who wore the best dress at whatever red carpet thing, what "celebrity" is dating what other "celebrity", Oh look at how much weight Ms. X has lost, look at how hunky Mr. X is now, blah blah blah....
I'll coattail on this one.
I am really annoyed about CNN's overuse of "Breaking News." Apparently everything is breaking news and it never stops being breaking news. They have devalued "Breaking News."
Sounds like they are actually breaking the news...
And don't get my going about Wolf Blitzer. Most overrated newsman ever.
Ditto. The guy is like the "National Enquirer" of crap journalism. Haven't watched anything from him in years. If I accidentally bump into him changing channels, I'll turn the TV off. Rather look at a black screen than his pompous, arrogant "reporting".
That we're in the 7th week of the year and we already have films promoting themselves as "the year's best..." or some variation.
Yahoo, we're the best film of the past 7 weeks. Just give us the Oscar now. Nothing better is likely to come out in the next 45 weeks.
Fist Fight is running promos proclaiming it's "the freshest comedy of the year." Yippee.
I'm usually very good at keeping things like accessories to things I own, I still have the box to my digital camera but I'm annoyed that I can't find the USB cable for it. I've had my camera for at least 10 years and while looking for the instruction manual to trouble shoot an issue, I noticed the cable was missing. Now I have to search the house to try and find it. I hope I didn't leave it behind when I moved 8 years ago.
People who, kindly, don't stop in the intersection and the ass-wipe behind them that can't lay off their horn.
I guess the "ass-wipe" is the annoyance.
Is it a unique cable? Most of the time these share similar cables with other devices.
I have the opposite problem. When cleaning my office recently at found a cable part with unique connections and I don't have the slightest idea what it belongs to. And you know as soon as I throw it away I'll have a need for it within a month.
I don't follow.
This reminds me of my annoyance. I stop at a stop sign as you are supposed to do and some @&$•¥€+*%! beeps at me!
It annoys me when people touch my non-touch computer screen and leave a fingerprint, because then, no matter what I do, the screen is never clean again. If I try to wipe off the fingerprint, I just get a "smeared screen." I would say this has developed into more of an "anger" issue with me than an annoyed one. It's my screen. No one has any business smearing it up. If they want to point, point. Don't make contact. If they must make contact, then please, for the love of God, use a pointer.
The connection is a lot smaller than the other cables I have. The first thing I did was try my phone and Walkman cables. I'm still looking for it or one that fits but if I can't find it, I can always buy another online.
