I watched "American Graffiti" last night and it made me think of the early Happy Days episodes. I love the first two years of that show when it was based on the antics of the three main characters and it didn't just focus on Fonzie. The first two years were shot on film "on location" and have a totally different feel from the later videotaped shows. I would love to see those early episodes remastered.

Anyone know if anything is in the works?

    Dean-
Hey, glad to see someone else besides me wants the first two or three years of Happy Days on DVD! [IMG]
I agree with you that the first through probably the third season of Happy Days was the best. It was shot like they really were in the 50's with their hair slicked back and Fonzie was more of the mysterious cool guy that everyone felt intimidated by.
After that the show seemed to lose it's 50's feel to it.
I hope Paramount will put this on DVD soon with the best video possible.
    Regards
    Troy
