I've left mine alone for now.
I might do this in the future if/when I get bored.

There have been a couple threads dealing with Wharf speaks and the use of sand or shot. A quick search may bring them forth for a read...

    My personal experience is:
I and others, find it's better to use lead shot as opposed to sand.

Not as messy to work with, easier to load and (unload if necessary). A funnel generally works pretty well to load threw the small 1.5" fill hole in the (Emerald EM~MKIV line)...

Is there a difference in SQ with a speaker loaded as opposed to unloaded with shot or sand, you will have to make that "personal SQ call". [IMG]

One thing is for sure, they will definitely be much heavier and more stable....This can be a good thing if you might have little ones...

    Regards
    Geoff
