I have posted this here before but decided on keeping them as i have found no other speakers i like within this price range. I even got the matching center for it. However, i am moving in 3 weeks, and do not have the space to occupy a full range tower along with my other speakers. Sadly, the larges speaker would have to go. At the same time my parents dislike the black finish with their rosewood furniture in our new home. Unforturnating, i do not have the box for the 9.6, so a LOCAL SALE MUST BE MADE. I live in Howard County, MD, area code 21043. My number is 443-756-6341. CALL ME ANYTIME! My email is [email protected] (Please do not PM me as i rarely check the PM box, thanks)

I have them powered by a Sony TA-E9000ES preamp and an 80pd Atlantic Technology A2000 amp with 120x7 power. They sound smooth yet detailed. Bass is thunderous, and the imaging is near perfect. I was going to upgrade to the Evo series, but after talking to audioadvisor, they said going from the 9.6 to even the evo40 would only be a comestic upgrade. They are truely an honest retailer as other stores would have urged me to upgrade.

Wharfedale Diamond 9.6 Tower Speakers (black) - $450/pr RETAIL: $1000
    - these speakers retail for $1000 brand new, however i reduce the price dramatically due to the fact that there is a slight dent on the back of one speaker due to shipping. Its nothing serious and can be easily hidden or painted over. Keep in mind it does not affect the sound at all.

here are some reviews and info you can read on the 9.6

there is also a review on avguide.com in a pdf file on the complete 9.6 and 9cm setup. Just sign up and do a search for "diamond 9.6"

I am also selling the matching center, the diamond 9cm which retails for $449 new. However, i bought it second hand from audioadvisor and do not have the speaker terminal jumpers. I've been using a homemade biwire cable for it. Everything else is in perfect condition.

I am selling the Diamond 9cm for $250 which is a bargain.

Here are the current prices for the Diamond 9.6 and 9cm from audioadvisor.

The total new price for both is around $1450.00, if you buy both, i will let you have it for $650!!!!OBO.

If you are using Paypal, i will absorb the 3% cost. No CHECKS please, only cash or paypal.

Please take the system off my hand, if not, i would have to place it in a storage room. Give me an offer, please dont lowball me as i am already slashing the price to nearly 60%, i paid a total of 1200-1300 for it as i recalled from audioadvisor a year ago. If it werent for a sudden move, i would have kept them.

I can drive anywhere as long as it is within the boundaries of howard county. I can meet halfway if you like, no charge for gas of course. I do goto DC for school, but you must meet me in arlington, VA as i do not know how to get anywhere else in DC.

    THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!
