I thought this episode was a nice change of pace, and a great vehicle for Allison Janney. Though I would have liked at least one full scene of Toby bumbling through a press briefing [IMG]
    cheers!

    Agreed.
Also it was probably the first episode that I was able to follow everything that was going on. [IMG]

    I liked this change-of-pace episode.
Perhaps this type of entry is in response to some fans' feelings that Sorkin (et al) doesn't pay enough attention to the "individual" personalities of the various WW characters.
So, we have an ep. focusing on just one individual (C.J.).
I hope they don't go TOO overboard on these "individual" themed episodes. I enjoy the breathless "walk a hundred miles in a day within the hallways" pace that is normally exhibited by Mr. Sorkin & Company on the series.
Although, I'll have to agree with Mr. Armstrong (above). This "CJ's Father" episodic adventure is one of the few entries where I knew what was going on completely. [IMG]
It's hard to follow a lot of the episodes (for me). But it's such a well-written, well-acted program, I really don't mind that. It's still absorbing TV.
    Now....Where's my Region 1 W.W. Season 1 and Season 2? [IMG]

By-the-by, who's the woman next to John Spencer on the box cover above? I never have seen Season 1 (which is why I'm anxious for the R1 DVD release), which makes me wonder who she is.

Wasn't Janel Moloney (Donna) in the Season 1 cast?
