So what's going on?

Winter/Fall is fast approaching, Christmas time is coming and my wallet is getting fat! It wants to go 'on a diet'!

Paramount
Warner
Columbia Tristar
Disney (Dimension/Miramax/Touchstone, etc)
Universal
Dreamworks
Lionsgate
and Artisan!

I remember last year, there were regular web chats being held! is it really that hard for an exec to take time out (1 or 2 hours) to speak to the BUYING public??

In some cases, yes.

After being to taken to the woodshed several times on this forum, I would be shocked if Columbia does any chats with us. Paramount has changed their policy about doing chats. Also, Disney and Universal never do chats while Fox and Warner will probably be scheduled after the Christmas Holidays to talk about their 2005 releases.

Well, then can you give me a laugh by telling me about some of the "Toughest" web chats the studios have faced?

And is it worth setting up a petition like e.g. on petitiononline.com for the release of cetain Back-Catalogue movies and Special Edition re-releases?

It is not the behavior during the chats that were problem since the chats were moderated very closely by the Moderator Staff. It was comments expressed in this area of the forum as well as in Software that caused the studios to reevaluate their participation on the forum.
