Actress Wendie Jo Sperber has died of cancer at home in Los Angeles. She was 46. She starred in "Bosom Buddies" with Tom Hanks and was in the "Back to the Future" movies with Michael J. Fox. Sperber founded the "we-Spark" cancer support center. "The Insider" reports the death and quotes Hanks as saying, "She met the challenges of her illness with love, cheer, joy, altruism through we-SPARK, and an unstoppable supply of goodness we are going to miss her as surely as we are all better for knowing her." She is survived by her parents and a son and daughter.
