...courtesy of Music Video Distribution. The description at http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_item.asp?item_id=47947 sounds like "Same Guys, New Dresses".
"Catch the insanity on and off the stage with The Kids In The Hall as they barnstorm across North America on their historic 2000 reunion tour. This hysterical documentary, directed by Dave Foley, goes almost too far behind the scenes as Canada's funny fab five get their act together and take it on the road."
    Features:
Commentary Track Featuring The Kids, Andy Richter, Mike Meyers, Jason Priestly, Matt Stone and Trey Parker

    Sounds awesome!

And if they could get the Kids in the Hall to do a commentary for a concert/documentary film, why does Paramount seem to think a no-commentary DVD of Brain Candy is all they can offer?

Cool, I saw the show in Chicago and I'll definitely pick this up. I hope Brain Candy is next.

Everyone who wants Brain Candy or the original series should buy this to show Paramount and HBO (or whomever owns the series) that there is a fan base out here.

PS The Kids are back on tour (in Seattle on May 14, The Paramount).

I was in the second row of the orchestra pit for the Chicago show.

I've never laughed so hard in all my life.

When I attended the HTF LA Meet. I asked Paramount about Brain Candy, Mr. Blythe did say it was coming to DVD later this year. But said there would be NO COMMENTARY from the kids.
So, no worries folks. Brain Candy is coming very soon![IMG]

I will be buying quite a few of these to give my friends as gifts to support the release of season sets on DVD. [IMG]

Oh my God, that just made my day. A commentary? The documentary? Great, great, great....

What's with all the other people on the commentary track? No matter...

I spoke with Broadway Video last week about the "Kids" coming to DVD.
No plans right now and no companies have licensed the rights to the show.
I have tickets to the show in Edmonton - 12th row [IMG]

5 weeks away, and it only looks like DVD Empire has the title for pre-order. Anyone have any more concrete info? How is Empire with preorders? I think I may have ordered from them a long time ago, but now mainly use Buy, DDD, or Amazon. If I have to order it from them, I will. But it's odd that they'd be the only one's to carry it.

You can order if from here too. Eclectic DVD (part of MVD) is who is releasing it in the US. If you pre-order it, it will ship on the street date (or possibly sooner) no problem. I work there so I'm pretty confident of it. [IMG] You will have to pay MSRP on it though.
