Weird Web browser behavior (1 Viewer)

I have recently been afflicted with this weird behavior on my PC...On certain web sites (i.e. Yahoo.com) when I click there, the site will start to load but then the browser will suddenly forward to a blank page at the web adress "http://" I can't figure it out! help!

I would predict either spyware or a virus. Run a virus scan and download Adaware and run that. Remove whatever it finds and then see if you're any better off. May not work, but it's good maintenance anyway.

tried that...still doing it.

wow, i'm honestly not sure what else to try. hopefully someone else will come along with an idea

Have you tried Spybot Search & Destroy? That sometimes finds things that AdAware doesn't.
