Anyone know what could be causing this?

It just started today, but first I noticed it when I stopped and played a tape. I pressed the stop button, and for about 7 seconds, nothing happened, then it stopped. I press the play button, and again a 7 second delay, and it played.

This had never happened before, so I decided to check the other feratures. Sure enough, when I pressed the CH up button, it waited 7 seconds before processing the request. Same goes for turning the VCR off and on. The light of the clock dimmed indicating the VCR was off, but the picture still displayed as if it was on..

    Any ideas?

I'd unplug it and see if that resets a goofy microprocessor. You never know?

It's the new FCC "Howard Stern" tape delay. [IMG]

This is going to sound extremley weirder, but I think I found the problem. I'm watching the VCR over a TV tuner, and as I was watching it, I had a 3D Program up that was probably taking up a bit of resources.

Out of curiosity, I closed the program, waited a few minutes, and tried again, and the VCR delay was gone. The VCR isn't connected to the computer, so the only thing I can think of, is that the TV Tuner experienced some weird Memory problem delay...

Strange how it's never happend before, but oh well [IMG].
